About Us

As a new mom stuck at home during the pandemic, I really wanted to do something for myself and my baby. Having worked since I was in 12th grade, being home all the time, being dependent on someone to support me and not going out much was causing me to go into depression. I always felt down and didn't feel accomplished anymore. I didn't feel independent anymore. I had had enough. I decided to take back control of my life and remembered the strong, independent and motivated woman I once was. I knew I could get back on my feet. However, now being a new mom with family always at work, I had to be creative. I wanted to raise my child, be there for him but also work. After brainstorming for months, I came up with a business idea and called it The Baby Elephant Store!

Why Baby Elephant? It was pretty simple actually. When I read books to Baby Z he always got very excited seeing elephants and I love everything baby! So I decided to use his favorite animal to represent us. When Baby Z was born, I looked for special pieces that I wanted to be a part of his nursery and wardrobe but I wasn't able to find what I wanted and just settled for what I found on the market. That's when I decided, if I can't find it, I will CREATE it! That's how The Baby Elephant Store came to life! Choosing only the best quality materials, most beautiful patterns and supporting other female entrepreneurs, I started The Baby Elephant Store in February 2022!

My main goal was to create gift boxes for expecting mammas that included all the essentials. Something I wish I had the option of purchasing to make the start into this beautiful journey of motherhood less stressful. So I created a special keepsake gift box with the highest quality blankets, swaddles, outfits and toys! The perfect gift to yourself, or to gift to an expecting mamma!
